Thanks to those who came out to the September meeting, John had a great time presenting the new cutting edge Live Services stuff. Also thanks to everyone for the great feedback on the new room at UVic. We will definitely be staying in the new room and hopefully having more networking/eating time at future meetings!
November Monthly Meeting - Developing with Amazon.com S3 Web Services
Continuing with the "Web Services" theme, we'll be having Mike Culver from Amazon.com in Seattle come up to give us a presentation on developing software applications with Amazon's new S3 Web Services platform on November 7th. This will be a developer-intensive talk with lots of code, using Visual Studio 2005 (no shopping websites or affiliate programs will be discussed). Look for the registration announcement in a couple weeks.

Sponsorship Program for 2007
We’re just gearing up our sponsorship campaign for the new year. Thanks very much to the people and companies that sponsored us last year (see the link below). We’ll be contacting past sponsors in the next few weeks to ask them to renew their support. If you are interested in sponsoring, an annual personal sponsorship costs $20 and an annual corporate sponsorship is $200. Details of the program will be available very soon!
