Welcome back.. New newsletter, new website!
Welcome back after our summer break to those who know us and those who are new! The Victoria .NET Developers Association is a local organization by and for the Microsoft .NET technology community in Victoria. We've been around since June 2004, and starting today we have a new newsletter and a new website (based on Community Server technology) with forums for community discussion.
Take a look around the new website, let us know if we're missing something. Most of the content from the old site is still there, and we will be adding more as time goes on.

Oracle User Group Symposium
The Victoria Oracle Users Group (VicOUG) is very pleased to announce that it will be holding its "Best Practices Symposium and Lectures" September 11-13 (Monday-Wednesday), 2006. The purpose of this event is to give members of the IT community in and around Victoria the opportunity to hear from individuals who are some of the most knowledgeable in their fields in North America.
Although this event is hosted by the Victoria Oracle Users Group, and sponsored in part by Oracle Canada, the presentations and lectures focus primarily on best IT practices, and do not necessarily focus on Oracle products. Therefore, this event should be of interest to all members of the IT community, not just users of Oracle tools.
